MMM, Inc. was founded as Hardy-Newsom in 1905 in La Grange, North Carolina for the purpose of making tobacco equipment. Over the years, the company made camouflage for the military during war-time, and eventually settled into making cast-iron cooking pots, and concrete garden
statues.
The foundry was owned and operated by J. Ward McConnell, Jr. from 1979 to 2012 and then the property was sold to the Town of La Grange. With our remaining inventory located in Kinston, NC, MMM remains the leading provider of 3-gallon to 12.5-gallon cast-iron cooking pots in America.
All of our pots have legs on the bottom for stability and handles on the sides. The 3-gallon English pot also comes with a wire handle that can be used to carry the pot or hang it over afire. The 3-gallon pot is also the only pot that is offered with a lid. We ship all over the United States, to homes and businesses alike.
